We started out the day trolling sitckbaits behind boards and caught about ten pike. After that we decided to pitch jigs with leeches into the reeds. We did find one good bed where the action was non stop for about 40 minutes. Even some bull gills were pulled out. Overall it was a GOOD day and we did magage to bring home a two man limit of eyes and a couple bluegills and perch.

I sure wouldn’t complain. It may have been slow but it looks like you did just fine.

The fish you’re holding look plenty solid. A couple limits like those make for a good day. Unless the limit is one.

We spent 13 hours on the lake. You really do notice the feeding windows when your on a lake that long. Not complaining at all, I will definately be back to this lake. I love the shallow water walleye bite. The oil is warming up as I type, gotta go!
