Pool 4 Water Levels

    These daily Thunderstorms to the north are bringing things up again. Most of the trout streams in the area are completely blown out. Hopefully the storms tonight stay well to the West and fizzle out.

    Bring it on! The fish haven’t minded the high water so far. The dog doesn’t mind either. Another great evening in the books.

    have not been out in a month or so. any tips you want to share hillhiker in case my plan A needs to be a plan B?

    I caught the majority pulling #7 jointed shads in 8-12′ of water. I’ve picked up a few of the nicer fish over the last week casting cranks to flooded trees in 1-3′ of water. I only got one doing it tonight though, but it was a 24″ that got to swim another day.

    thanks bud! my plan A will have plenty of trees to cast to so will give that a go. not sure I will do much trolling. with the water levels high, i want to explore some new to me spots.
