Pikes Bay Lake Superior

    We’re staying in Bayfield for a family vacay this summer. I’m wondering if anyone has fished Pikes Bay from shoreline or Pikes Creek. I don’t have big trout gear but I figure I could chuck a heavy sooon out there and see what bites. If it’s calm in the am, I’ll take a canoe out and try.

    If it is the middle of the summer…You can catch northerns in the Pikes bay marina….Might be a trout or two cruising around. Pikes creek should have brookies in every deep hole. There are some nice ones in there at times…

    Towards fall it used to have a good salmon run up the creek.
