Pelican Lake near Orr

    Looking at possibly booking a resort trip to Pelican Lake. My group loves bass fishing and this lake looks interesting. We have fished Vermilion in past years but were wondering if this lake might be a change of pace. Lots of shallow water…..is this a problem?

    Based on watching our old fishing buddy Butch Fuhrtman from Duluth who fished it lots staying at Oveson’s, I’d say more largies than smallies…

    Heading up late Sept for some largemouth and panfish action. I hear nothing but good.
