Despite the heat, I can’t think of one lake, of the hundreds that we fish, that isn’t producing big right now. Days of +70 walleyes were common this week.
In addition, The Walleye Dream Trip is unbelievable. Since Monday, we ran 4 trips and not once did we catch less than 200. Common were the words “I just can’t believe this”.
I suppose the only thing we are not seeing in great numbers is trophy pike, although someone lost a +44 at the boat yesterday. Excited and disappointed all at once.
