Happy 4th of July – This past week, we added the famous ” Walleye Dream Trip ” to our bag of tricks. So far we are averaging about 200 walleyes a trip. Also, fishing on area lakes continues to remain strong. On bigger waters, respectable walleyes are being found as shallow as 3 feet, concentrating near weeds. Smaller ones are seeking safety in deeper haunts. The first series of pictures are from one of our bread & butter walleye lakes and the WDT.

Lake Trout fishing on Nipigon went into full swing last week. We handed out 3 Pasha Lake Trophy Club hats. Two hats were given for lake trout over 25lbs and one hat for a 31” walleye.

For the upcoming week, we anticipate Ombabika bay starting to produce and more crazy numbers on the WDT. Some of our smaller “pot hole” lakes that were good last week, should continue to provide guests with consistent action.

Temperatures have been pleasantly in the 70’s and close to 80, providing the icing on the cake for action packed fishing. The forecast looking forward predicts more of the same.

    Stay tuned…
