    Hey guys. So I have never done any open water fishing for perch. However they are one of my farorite eating fish, and I just happen to be heading to a lake for the next week+ that has a pretty good population. So I figured I should give it a try. What am I looking for though when looking for a spot that is holding them? Also what would be the best method this time of year?

    Weeds hold lots of perch and along the weededges.A jig with a fathead usually works good perch are agressive

    I would also say weed edges but I have also noticed that they like to follow the shadow of your boat. So I would fish under the boat and under docks.
