panfish on 4, 5 &6

    Anyone doing anything on pannies on these pools? Haven’t had my boat out since mid-May and have REALLY gotten the urge. Maybe backwaters???

    Backwaters are really high and full of current in many places. Areas with rip-rap right next to deep water might be holding some crappies. The marinas and harbors could well be your best bet right now for pannies since most of these spots are out of the real hard current.

    I tossed some jigs in Baypoint yesterday morning….from the road. There was plenty of current in there even, but I did stick a few fish…crappies and sunfish. Nothing large.
