    Just wondering how the ice is out there and if anybody is catching fish? I’m heading to a buddies cabin first weekend in February any I’m starting to get pumped up. Whats goin on up there?

    Lake Osakis is only 10 minutes from Alexandria so I consider it an Alexandria area lake.

    Ice is still in pretty good shape. Mostly running around 10 to 12 inches. Have seen a few vehicles out in a couple of areas. I wouldn’t suggest that unless you know what the ice is like where you are going, it does vary some here and there. Mostly ATV traffic.

    Any reports on Osakis? Headin up there feb 3-5. Hows the ice?

    Ice is good. Lot of car and truck traffic now but will have to see how it is next weekend. Supposed to be in the low to mid thirties all week with a chance of rain Tuesday afternoon. That would not be good with the snow that is on the lake now because that will make for slushy conditions with it now getting cold enough to refreeze anytime soon.
