    4 of us fished the Bemidji area on Saturday. We slept in and didn’t get lines in the water until 9am. Launches were nice and quiet at that time of morning… ;)

    We found water temps to be ranging from 54-56 degrees, and we caught nearly all of our fish in 8-14′ of water, with one nice keeper coming out of 21′ in a small trough between two bars. Spot-tail shiners on a 1/4oz. jig was best, drifting or moving into the wind going .4 to .7.

    We ended up with our 24 keepers and had 2 big fish that posed for pics. Here’s the largest of the trip…
