SE Nebraska Lakes

    Anyone been out to Omaha or SE NE lakes and have any reports? I was out last Saturday but am heading out again this weekend. Water temps are on the rise- slowly!

    I have heard nothing about that area….but I usually don’t hear much unless a buddy or two hits the water down there. Get out and try though…gonna be nice this weekend!

    B Rob, thanks. I’ve had the boat out 3x now. Did pretty good 2outta 3. Crappies are moving in closer to dams, banks, shallows. Once water temps get around 55-60 watch out!

    That’s right! Took us a little while to figure out some crappies this year, but we got into em pretty hard this past weekend. It’ll only get better from here. About 50 degress the flatheads will be out starting to move around, so I’m hoping to finally hook into one while fishing for saugers. It’s gotta happen sometime.
