Walleye this time of year?

    I’ve fished the weeds later in the year on West Okoboji but never before the weeds have emerged. Any thoughts on where to look for the eyes this time of year??

    In/over the emerging weeds, prefereably after dark…

    East Okoboji for eyes this time of year, 8-15ft of water on wide gradual flats. Troll #5-7 silver/black shad raps. From the Barefoot Bar up to the northern point, they are in there thick. I would even just drift and cast shad raps and pound them through there.
