Ohio’s largest fish are starting to bite.

The 35 and 45 pound flatheads in this picture were released to grow, spawn, and fight again.

    Robby,

Man you get around. I see you on GFO, in Great Lakes Hunting and Fishing, and now here. It’s nice to see another Ohioan posting. Nice fish by the way. Are you willing to give me a few pointers on where to catch a couple just like those?

From the looks of the background, I suspect you are fishing from shore?
What types of bait do you use?
Can you use game fish as bait in Ohio? Such as sunfish?
I’ve read that’s a popular bait down south.
