Just moved to the Spicer area. I am looking at Green for the walleye opener. I have never fished the lake before. Without giving any secrets away, what seems to work best on this lake early? Jigging, trolling stick baits, trolling live bait, slip bobbers?
With a month for the water to warm up, will this help or hurt the fishing for the opener?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Howie

My Grandpa and Grandma had a cabin on Green decades ago. Gramps always said first time on the lake in their new shiny aluminum boat all the neighbors came on by and had to see what it was. He loves that story.

Ill try to get a hold of some of my Uncles if they got any intel on the lake. This was a long time ago though.

Hit green on the weekdays it will be busy on opener. Look at Eagle, and Diamond. As for techniques, all depends on water temp. If it stays warm I would pull cranks.
