Platte River walleyes….who knew!

    Wading in the Platte River last night paid off! Ended up catching 4 walleyes this size, but none had the gut this one did. Ended up with 6 walleyes and 4 channel cats throwing cranks. Probably the fastest I’ve ever limited out; got 5 of the 6 walleyes in about 35 minutes, maybe less. Can’t say I’ve ever done that before, but it sure is addictive.

    You did that fishing the Platte? Are they fish coming out of the reservoir and canal system?
