I was out fishing Chautauqua Lake Saturday about a 2.5 hr drive for one of my occasional Musky fishing outing. I was trowing my jerkbaits and pullbaits both plastic and hard, w/o any luck. My friend was fishing for perch with a 1/16 oz jig and a 1/8″ plastic worm. During his perch fishing with this tiny perch bait he caught 2 Musky’s (quite a job landing them on 6 LB test) and had 2 bite offs. Figure that.
