Man, I bought a stamp and haven’t even wet a line yet. I only live 400 yds from the SB of the WW is the crazy thing! Has anyone ventured along the tick infested waters edge? I haven’t even heard the word “trout” spoken in months.
I’ve been out a couple times in the past week. Did pretty good. Biggest was a 13.5″ and 8 in the 11.5″ – 12.5″ range. Not too much competition out there. Didn’t find any ticks. I fished a two different areas of the Main branch using crawlers.
We fished the main branch alot in early may with limited success,most fish in the 11-14″ range with the browns being the largest.Crawlers or spinners worked equally as well.your right about the ticks,limit out early every day on them.
