TROUT FISHING

I am thinking of heading down to the whitewater valley this week end to do a little trout fishing, have not been down there sinse late april. anybody in the vacinity that can give a quick report on stream conditions (i know conditions can chage like the weather) and if there is any kind of a bite going. not looking for any locations, stream names, or anything like that, just general information.

We’ve been dry for the most part down this way, but we did have some rain this morning. I think your trout water will be running clear unless we see a torrent between now and this weekend. We’re forecast to be cooler for the last half of the week so walking the streams shouldn’t cause heat stroke….hopefully.

GNATS ! Good luck. I was out yesterday evening on the WI side. Maybe MN does not have GNATS ! No Skeets over here until after dark . They won’t come out because of the GNATS !
