Last Wed and Thurs my friend Steve and I went up to Mille Lacs
    for a two day trip.
We were mainly looking for Smallmouth Bass which we found on
east side rocks from 6 to 20 feet deep.
We were going to do some night time Walleye trolling, but an area
of rain was developing from St Cloud to east of Brainerd so we
did not do any night trolling.
    Anyone else get out lately?
    Jack

Very nice, Jack. Just because the walleye bite has been a bit tough doesn’t mean there’s no reason to fish Mille Lacs, eh? Thanks for the pics.

Was up there the 17th – 20th here is the one and only fish from 2 days of musky fishing on mille lacs. Lived it MN for 49 years and never been on Mille lacs so decided to try it out. First day up there we got blown off the lake so we went to a small lake and ended up catching some nice Large mouths and pike. Fun trip despite the tough fishing
