For everyone reading this I encourage you to give Burt/Mullet lake a try. It’s located just south of Mackinaw bridge in michigan. I have fished alot of places in North America and there’s not much I can’t say about Burt lake chain. This past weekend me and a few buddies decided to go up there and try our luck on walleye and boy did I find my new favorite lake it was literally none stop action from sun up to sun down. The lake is crystal clear you can easily see down 15 feet and count stripes across the backs of perch and I’m sure you could see down much further just never tried. The walleyes were endless pry seen over 100 in a day swimming under my hole and not to mention the perch, sturgeon, muskie, pike, rainbow trout, and giant brown trout. Burt lake I know is some where around 18000 sq Acer’s and Mullet is just as big if not bigger and there’s pickeral lake and crooked lake also very respectfull lakes as well. Michigan’s state record small mouth 9+lbs come from this area if your looking for a good lake to visit Burt/Mullet chain should b on the top of your list if anyone has any questions contact me and I’ll do my best to answer.
