I have a friend taking his son up to Merritt for the weekend. I was wondering if anybody knows of any sort of bite going on there. My friend is a novice fisherman and his son is only 8 years old. Any help would be appreciated.

If I was heading up there I would start off trolling the trees in the Snake.

August 25, 2007 at 7:21 pm #603311It’s curently down 16.5 ft. Not sure where that compares to last year??
August 25, 2007 at 8:22 pm #603317I think that that is pretty comparable. One could contact Steve Broekemeir who is the dam keeper for the irrigation district to get exact figures and possibly some good ideas on what is or has been happening at the lake. They have been having some pretty extreme weather up in the hills.
