Menomin Perch

    Decided to hit the lake for an hour before work this morning, and happy to see the perch were agreeable. Kept these 8 between about 9″-11.” Didn’t keep limit, as I might try taking the boys out for a bit after school. Had to sort, as the smaller guys were pretty active.

    I’m thinking we certainly didn’t need all this new snow.

    Nice fish Stretch!!!!! Menomin has some DANDY perch.

    Thanks. The later the ice holds…the bigger the perch get. Best fishing is yet to come.

    Those are some big perch. I’ve been getting a few nice one’s on my little secret river in town too

    Absolutely some great jumbos in that lake!!! During my days in school, we managed to find them just before the fisheree one year and had a ball with three fish entered before someone coming late in the day with one that pushed one of ours off the board and finished in 2nd and 3rd.

    Good job, those are some quality perch…..now’s the time for those perch to start spawning
