How much ice out there?
Try and keep this post going if possible for the various parts of the lake–seems more people are relying on this site for info. With all the snow, will be important.
thanks guys!

I think miserable is the best way to describe the ice conditions.
Headed out on Butch’s Bay yesterday afternoon for a short time. about 10″ of solid ice, but above that is 8″ of slush and 18″ of snow.
I went out on the main lake, off the cemetary this morning. Where the snow blew off, the slush froze down and there’s lots of ice. Anyplace where there is snow at all, there’s slush. Still had 6+ inches of solid ice under the deepest snow.
I was hoping the cold would have frozen things up better, but just too much snow. Going to tough going for a while.
As far as the fishing goes…hit and miss.
Was out today and we had a solid 6 maybe 7 of clear ice where I was and 4-5 inches of the frozen slush on top of that. Saw some wheelers out and both got stuck. Heard a lot of snowmobiles running around. Still gonna have to wait for the big house
