eating fish

    are this fish in menomin and tainter ok to eat? always hear about the problems with the lakes just wondering? The wife grew up in menomonie and she said they never ate fish out of there.

    I eat crappies and walleyes out of there a few times a year and I think I’m doing O.K. That is kind of an open ended question though

    The fish are fine to eat. Algae bloom in summer is far different than heavy metals advisary. I keep enuff for meals now and then, but mostly thru the ice. I also think I’m doing OK…but will leave judgement up to someone else as well.

    Russ, I thought you only ate musky, and other rough fish?
