Team Fin-tech came through Thursday night with another 1st place and big fish pot. Fin-tech weighed in four fish that weighed 14.5 lbs. Big fish weight was 6.5 lbs 26 inches what a tank. Thank you Fin-tech Tackle http://www.jigfish.com for the great jigs and Dick Smith Live Bait and Tackle for the great bait, http://www.dicksmithslivebait.com/.
Vertical jigging and dragging nuckle ball jigs down the river channel put us on top. Color was key!

Rock River madness! The recreational boaters were very disrespectful today other than that it was awesome day out fishing with my oldest son Tim. We caught 7 walleyes over 20 inch and the biggest was another 25 inch tank which I released and Tim released a 23 incher. Tim also caught a huge white bass and a nice pike. We also caught 6 short walleyes and a few sticks….lol Just want to say if it wasn’t for nuckle ball jigs which color was key from Fin-tech tackle http://www.jigfish.com and Dick Smith Live Bait and Tackle http://www.dicksmithslivebait.com/ we would have got skunked like most of the other anglers fishing next to us. Thank you Fin-tech and Dick Smith live Bait and Tackle

Meet Ozzie, my adopted but obedient 9 mo old English Pointer. I have a feeling we will mostly be in the field this fall rather than the water but I’m hoping to get him in the (empty) canoe soon to see how he does. Anyway, he’s been my distraction which is why you haven’t seen me fishing lately.

Congrats Greg to the new family member!

Congratulation to Jeremiha Weber and his partner to win 1st place with three fish around 11 lbs and big fish pot at the Thursday night walleye league out of Anchor Inn in Newville WI. Team Fin-tech worked hard for 2nd place three fish at 7 lbs.

Took the new rig out for a shake down run today, ran some trolling gear, boated one 23 inch eye, a few shorts, one big perch, and slimed up the carpet with a handful of northerns. Great to be back out on kosh.

Good job Kelly, those slimmers are an excellent way to break in a new boat. With that boat in the garage you’ll enjoy that fresh scent for days to come just like Ozzie as forever changed the smell here, he’s a little funky this morning.
