Heading there first weekend in August with a couple guys from work. We’re pretty excited and hope to get some nice fish. Has anyone been over that way recently and have any advice. Thanks

Fishing was great last weekend for us last weekend in 100 to 130 ft straight out and a little south Went 10 for 10 with my daughter including 1 at 30 lbs. Dipsies downriggers and leadcore all caught fish. Green flashers with green/white flies 125 to 150 back on dipsies. Spoons down 50 on riggers. Most boats stayed in 50 to 70 as that’s where the coldest water was. Good luck

Buddy and I was out Wednesday night after the storms closer to Port. Wicked current south to north, and the water near shore was WAY too cold. Had 46-48 in 30 fow. Headed out to 100+ to find 52-53.
Went 9 of 13 all kings. nothing over 18ish# but heck of a lot of fun. Top producers was any green and GLOW spoon on 5, 6, or 7 color. White flasher and green/white/crystal flies on dipsies set #3 @ 68 and @ 100

We got a few today out of two rivers. Five and ten colors were hot. Not a bite on the wire divers. Downrigger took a couple with a secret weapon rig down 40.

Nice! How deep we’re having to get out to?

We had our best luck in 80 feet yesterday.

Went out on a charter today out of algoma and did good from 150 to 200. Seven colors , three hundred copper and wire divers at 100 were fire.

If your still in Algoma go to the tackle shop. It gives me anxiety walking the isles but you can find some interesting stuff
