I’m heading to the Manitowish chain this weekend primarily chasing musky but I’d like to spend some time on smallmouth bass, walleye and crappies. I’ve never fished this chain before but have heard the fishing can be really good. I also have limited fall fishing experience for bass and walleye because I’m usually chasing deer with my crossbow. As luck would have it I have filled the freezer with venison already and now have time to spend on the lakes. I’m just looking for some general areas to look primarily bass and walleyes this time of the year. I know crappies start to school up over deep basins but not sure about the bass and walleye.
