If you’ve never tried to chaperone 5 year old twin boys it is a challenge. I decided to get them out today after some crappies and Jonas managed his first one a dandy 12 incher. The crappies are just starting now on Lake Waubesa and many muskies are in the shallows still. This 41 incher hit a roadrunner and was quite a battle on a 4lb test mono. I dug a 2 inch aluminum sliver out of its head. Looked like a peice of a beer can or something. Picture taken by a 5 year old boy. Thomas also got his first large mouth bass. Those anglers that had crappie minnows managed more fish than anyone else I saw. the water was 58 degrees and is more murky than normal. Tight lines.
