Fished Lake Mendota 1/26/08 for walleyes all day in the Second Point area. Fished 14-40 ft of water. Only marked fish in the 24-30 ft range though. Not sure if they were walleyes cause i couldn’t get them to bite at all. Lost a large northern at the hole and had another fish, presumably a pike, break off a leader. Four other flags, but no fish. Will try again soon.
