THey are out on Waubesa ice fishing again. They are getting gills and the ice is about 3″ thick. Be safe out there.

The ice is thicker than that..its about 6-8″ thick, unless you are under the bridges then its about 3″

and watch out for that fool that almost hit me with his snowmobile right before he went swimming twice. 3 inches on Waubesa as of last friday. There are weak spots beware.
Thanks for that update. It looks like my trip will be delayed for a couple more weekends. I wish I lived closer and had less to do at home I need a fishing fix.

as of last Sunday there was about 5″ or so on most parts of the lake with some thinner spots towards the middle that the geese kept open…Fishing was OK…Caught about a dozen or so perch. Nothing huge
