Boat Rental

    A lady where I work wants asked me to find out if there was a boat rental somewhere on the Madison Chain. She and her husband want to spend some time on the area lakes fishing and relaxing. I don’t frequent the chain too much and couldn’t come up with anything, but if anyone has any suggestions that I could give her, I am sure she’d appreciate it. Thanks in advance. DK

    I should also say that it doesn’t have to be on the chain, could be any surrounding lakes or rivers in the area with decent fishing.

    There is a little shop on Lake Waubesa, Barr’s Bait shop and boat rental. I don’t have a number, but I assume it would be in a Madison phone book.

    Lake Wisconsin has a number of boat rental places as well. Some on the river and a number on the lake. I will get together some names if you are interested in that.

    You can rent boats at the Wingra boat landing too. This lake is no wake and has excellent musky fishing. Keep your toes out of the water.
