Spent about 4 hours on Macbride last night with less than stellar success. Fishing seems to be quite a bit slower this year in general, and what I thought would be a good day only resulted in a handful of fish. I don’t know if the hard winter resulted in reduced numbers, or if the cool, rainy summer has been the drain but something’s sure slowing me down.
Fish I did catch were generally tight to cover. The biggest were in laydowns and matted vegetation.
