LOTW or Rainy Auger Extension?

    Might be headed to Rainy this weekend or next and not sure what is needed. Anyone know how thick the ice is up on the border country?

    I have a new pistol bit but may have to bring my gas Strikemaster. Catch is I don’t own an extension for either and might need to scramble to find one. Worse the gas auger is at the cabin which is an hour or so out of the way.

    When I was at LOW on the 22nd there was 36-40″ of ice, at least where I was at.

    ….and 30 to 33″ were i have been on LOTW and we have been fine without the extensions on. I always carry them with me just in case.

    Thanks guys, sounds like a little hit and miss. My trip might be falling through but will still get on the search for an extension. Not a bad thing to have in the inventory.

    I didn’t come close to needing an extension last week. Still, I always bring one to LOW.
