Anyone think the longer pole is overkill?

I had the longer Summit pole in my cart, but the only plans for it are on the ice, so I went with the shorter one. Rarely do we ever get ice over 36″ so just went the 18-36″.

i have plans to head up to winnipeg as long as the boarder stays open so i am leaning towards the longer unit. That is literally the only reason.

I use my 60″ pole on my dock and boat in the summer time, 36″ would be way too short… folded up the 60″ pole is only something like 6-8″ longer than the 36″

I purchased the 93sv at woodbury cabelas at 4:30 pm today.
Bass tank also posted early black friday deal with the same prices for 93sv and livescope transducer

I messaged Garmin chat about it yesterday before placing my order – he said the only way to get the LVS32-IF transducer was purchasing separately. He said he would bring it up internally inquiring about possibly putting the LVS32-IF transducer into a bundle in the future. Didn’t help me at all now haha, but maybe something to keep in mind if you are thinking about purchasing it in the future.

Thought I would have this thing put together and be waiting on the ice to cometh…now we’ve got ice and I’m waiting on the Livescope lol

If nothing else hopefully the bundles come with the cable with the reliefs in the housing so it moves more freely.

yes, at the very least you’ll get the double-wire version with the stress relief cord, unless whomever you order from has an old bundle left over…

Google part #’s to find cheaper prices, ebay is another spot to check. I would wait until Black Friday to start looking, lots of sites do 10%+ discount codes that day only…

The Reeds Outdoors lithium bundles are probably the best deal if you just want to order it without any deal searching, its also nice to get everything in one box.

yea it showed up so i pulled the trigger. I am not sure the Reeds deal with the GC includes livescope but I could be wrong. That would be a crazy deal!

Here’s Livescope system for $1,400 before $200 rebate (might have an issue with rebate if Garmin gets picky about the msrp?)

Cabela’s wouldn’t ship these out. Had to buy at store.
    Did BPS ship?

I think I was off in my power usage comparison between the 93UHD and the Ultra106sv… while the 106 does draw more power, its not that substantial… this has me rethinking the 106sv as an ice bundle option, especially when it’s a much better unit for the boat and you can just switch the 1 screen between the two.
