Little Bay De Noc in spring

    Has anyone fished Little Bay in the spring? Its 50 miles from our camp and I am thinking about trying it at the opener.

    Thanks, I have heard that is good smallmouth fishing. I was thinking more trolling little bay for walleye and pike. Anybody have any experience with that?

    I think season opens May 15th. Did ok at the head of the Bay out of Kipling. Lots of boat traffic. Smaller fish north, bigger fish south is what I remember. Mostly walleyes but some pike and bass mixed in too
