I know no one can predict weather. So is there any chance that I will be able to go ice fishing the middle of March with how the ice is now. I’ve never been out there fishing in general, but that is my only available time, and I’ve always wanted to go out there looking for Jumbo’s and some bonus walleyes.
I would guess there will still be ATVs and SxS (probably trucks out there as well) for a while yet.

Some of the more popular access points got sloppy over the past weekend, but there’s 24-36 inches of ice most everywhere.
I wouldn’t get too excited about the bite though.

I will be heading to devils lake Fri. How is the ice looking. People still driving? I will have the 4 wheeler with also. Is the bite still slow. Also always dreamed about fishing in the flooded timber. Is that still at thing??
