Lakemaster regular or Lakemaster plus or ??

    Doing a serious electronics upgrade this year and going with a Humminbird HELIX 10 CHIRP MEGA SI GPS G2N. My question is the Lakemaster plus worth the upgrade?? A quick Internet search looks like it only adds satellite layering. Not sure I would like the SmartStrike option using predictive options where to fish.

    Huge upgrade over the 15 year old 5″ Lowrance LMS-332. I’ll now be that guy who has as much invested in electronics as my boat is worth grin

    I have the plus and the Satellite feature is nice, but 90% of the time I turn it off as it slows my Helix 5 down when loading…I’m sure it would be better in the new 10, but I just don’t find myself using it enough to justify the price over the standard.

    Check ebay for the lakemaster plus chip. Found it for around $118 new.
