Kid Caught a trophy

    My 10 year old caught this 40 inch pike on Mille Lacs today. We were pulling super shads in about 15 ft of water near some weed growth. He battled him for about 15 minutes including a complete jump out of the water. Other than me netting and holding the fish, he did it all on his own. Dad is proud too!

    Thanks guys! It was pretty cool. He said it was his dream come true. We are still talking about it and watching the video clip his Grandpa got as he was also in the boat. I think you’re right, enlarged photo for the wall on tap!
