    Caught this fishing for Small Mouth using my light weight rod with 6# test mono. Took a small paddle tail right in the corner of the mouth. This is the first pike I know of to come out of Johnson in 15-20yrs.

    With the high water releases the past 3 years (those days are over for now), you never know what you’re going to get around here now. Makes it fun. We’ve caught 3 pike in the canal this year, where we usually catch NONE.

    What’s with the glove, wuss??
