Carp spawing in Quad Cities??

    I have been everywhere looking for spawning carp in the quad cities area. Today I shot some 10 and 15 pound carp in Princeton at the river access canal just south of the shooting range. I had to buy an Iowa license though. Any Illinois sightings so I can take some Illinois kids without having to buy out of state licenses? Thank you for any help.

    River access canal? You mean the backwaters there at the boat ramp or in the marsh?
