Icons on Garmin 73vs

I am learning my new graphs and have figured out how to mark waypoints, but can you also use icons? On my old lowrance I used icons way more than way points. Are icon a feature on the new Garmins?

I believe most manufacturers have done away with icons in favor of a waypoints only arrangement. You can drop a waypoint and change the symbol to a “icon-like” symbol of your choosing but I’m not aware of any way to drop an icon in the manner that was possible with LMS series units back in the day.

I also preferred to use icons instead of way points, but I will just use way points now.
