1st annual Wintercade Ice Fishing Contest

The 1st annual Wintercade Ice Fishing Contest is scheduled for Saturday, February 26th from 1-to-3 p.m. on Lake Ripley – sponsored by the Litchfield VFW and American Legion. There will be numerous prizes in several categories. The entry fee is $20. For tickets and more information, stop at Lake Ripley Bait & Tackle, the Litchfield American Legion, and the Litchfield VFW.

We will be selling raffle tickets at $20 each
1st Prize $1,000
2nd Prize $500
3rd Prize $200
4th – 44th Prize $20 (40-$20 prizes)
There will be prizes for the following fish catagories:
bluegill, crappie, Northern and Walleye/Bass (4 catagories)
1st Place $300
2nd Place $200
3rd Place $100
We will also be giving a $100 prize to the 1st, 10th and 25th Place perch!

The Cub Scout Wintercade Breakfast is on Saturday, February 26th from 7-to-11 a.m. at the Litchfield VFW. The cost is $5 in advance or $6 at the door. It’s free for kids 10 and under. You can tickets in advance from any Cub Scout member or call Bill at 593-2508 or 320-282-6092, or call Carl at 320-286-1115.
