    Had a buddy build this for me. This thing is the cat’s meow!

    Looks sweet I have not tried a custom rod yet for ice fishing but that is definitely on the list.

    You’ve got a sweet rod there, your buddy did a real nice job.

    What material is used to bevel the transition from the blank into the seat? Is it epoxy or some sort of carbon insert?

    Ill have to ask him whats in there to create that bevel, its been wrapped with thread and epoxied so i dunno. Pretty cool detail tho i thought.

    One thing that i was worried about was the balance of the rod with that real seat, but its amazingly small and light. Very happy! I want him to build me another on a walleye SH now haha.
