Went up and fished a couple streams Wednesday and did pretty well. Ended up with about 20 trout, several larger ones and but mostly 13-14″ fish. Kept a couple rainbows and a brown that was pretty fouled up on the lure. Lost two browns right in front of me that were easily 20″. The rainbow in the picture went about 16-17″.

Those are nice fish Walleye, especially when the hatchery trout are released at about 12″. With all this heat were there many trout fishing?

Not at the first stream I went to, it was a bit remote so no one wants to walk that far. At the last stream I stopped at, access was fairly easy so there were plenty of people…

I used to fish Backbone and Manchester when I was a kid, its been along time since I’ve fished for trout and I live fairly closeby, I’ve thought about picking up my flyrod again and tieing some flies. What streams did you fish.
