Hudson WI Lower Unit Welding?

    Hi All,

    I have a Yamaha V Max with a 4 inch crack in the cavitation plate. I was wondering if anyone knew of someone in the Hudson/River Falls area that could weld this without having to send it off to someone else to handle.

    We are just outside of river falls, and we repair this kind of thing quite often. Can you send me a picture of the damage?

    Propulsion Inc in Hudson does welding. They fixed a skeg for me 3 years ago and it has held up well

    Thanks, @steveo! I think they have closed up shop as of this year. I know a guy who went in to get a new skeg welded on. They did a great job welding, however put it on backwards….

    A few years back that was a great place to have in town!

    Did you check with Marine Associates in Hudson? Not sure if they do this type of work.
