How high will the Chain flood this spring?

    I’m hoping the water will be down enough to use my docks & shoreline during opener weekend….I’m betting it hits an all-time high this spring…

    I don’t think the chain will get super high in the open areas vs the more narrow channels such as richmond to farming or from cold spring to rockville and on down to sartell, that water will be very high…

    I was up there this past weekend, water was about 8-12 inches higher than it typically is around opening fishing. The Koetter channel was completely open and the main river channel was open pretty wide as well. I’d guess iceout will take place in 2 weeks…if we get several days of high winds, maybe even sooner…
