Ice conditions on the chain?

    I was up there last Monday and there was open water in the current areas…Not sure of the thickness on the main lakes..

    Are you talking about the whitefish? If so I,m going in a coulpe weeks and would like to catch some nice panfish in one of the local lakes. I will be entertaing non fishing folks, so the idea is to make it fun and easy with some fish on the ice.

    Thanks. I’ll be in the Crosslake area and looking for easy access to an area lake can anyone help with location?
