Tough Bite

    Yikes, really tough bite on opener…Fish seemed to be 2-3 weeks behind schedule (When you think about it, with the late ice out this sounds about right)

    The few fish I did see taken were from extremely slow presentations, fish should get much more active the next few weeks..

    Like the resorters and most of the rest of the northern MN economy aren’t already battling a late spring….hope FEMA is standing by…

    The only way to not catch a catfish in the horseshoe chain is to not put your line in the water.

    I’m going to try noodling up there this fall. I know it is illegal, but looking for crawfish isn’t.
