Hooking up a Garmin Panoptix and Garmin 73sv with a power swich.

    I am new to this forum and thank you for the add by the way. I have installed a Garmin 73sv and Garmin UHD Panoptix Livescope. I am aware I need a switch to kill the power or it will still draw power and kill my battery. What type of switch and how to I hook it up? I am electrical stupid. Please help

    If an ice unit, just pull the positive spade off the battery when not using. Done

    All you need is a single pole/single throw switch hooked in the positive feed. Either push-pull, rocker or lever type. I find a lighted switch to be beneficial for an ice unit as it’s very easy to forget to turn it off.
