    Was out today just about need extension on auger be a while next Saturday gonna get down to zero again than not over freezing for 7 days be at least a month

    I think Mid April may be accurate.

    I agree. Probably mid April. I’ve got a family cabin where the deer tail creek flows in..
    I haven’t been able to get up there all year. I think we’re gonna miss the open water crappie bite unless it warms up quick!

    My parents live by where the Jump comes in. There is still a lot of ice. Hopefully after this last snow we can start getting some warmer days to get the snow and ice melting. I probably will fish next on opener.

    Reports are that most of the lake is open. Good Luck this season
